He did first the 100m Final and he broke his world record with a 9'58" ,it was quite unbelievable for normal people like us to believe that one person like Usain Bolt can run 100m in 9'58"! I was thinking: Oh my Gosh,he's like an alien!
He's a really funny athlete and some people could not understand him with all his funny faces and moves like the Bolt Arms, because someone could think why an athlete that has to be really focused on what he has to do can play with the camera and so on,but I think he totally can do it,he cannot lose,he's too much faster,we'll wait a while to see another like Usain on the track.
On the last day of competition he was also wearing a T-shirt with a written on it: Ich bin ein Berlino. It was mix between the historical quote of Kennedy: Ich bin ein Berliner (I'm a Berlin) and the name of the 2009 Worlds mascot, a big bear called Berlino. I thought it was a really funny thing :) And then the bear in the afternoon was wearing a T-shirt with the written: Ich bin ein Bolt (I'm a Bolt).
This is the photo: Ich bin ein Berlino (that stays for: I'm a mascot in this sport,I'm a legend) And I think:Yes,you're,Usain.

And this is the video of his incredible performance on 100m Final:
But the 100m wasn't the only amazing Final Bolt did. There were also the 200m. And again his own World record broken with a 19'19".
How incredible is that? He did an awesome competition there weren't other competitors on the track but only Usain Bolt and his legendary speed.
He has no worries with the other runners,he's the only one,he's too fast for the others.
This is the video of his great 200m competition:
After this World Championships there's a big news because Usain Bolt now wants to train also for the 400m and he wants to break another record also in that distance. AMAZING.
So,good luck,Usain.

You're right, Ila! I'm also fascinated by Bolt, it looks like he's from another planet ;) I love how relaxed he looks before the start, it never looks as though he's nervous or anything. Amazing!
ReplyDeleteI think he's a big inspiration for every athlete!
peace and love
